Air Affairs is a specialist consultancy established in 1997 to provide military and civilian clients with independent support in Human Factors and training-related services. The company's principal focus is placed on analysing the performance and needs of individuals and teams operating within complex operational and safety critical environments.
Company staff include registered Ergonomists, chartered Psychologists, military operational and training specialists, each with a minimum of 5 years practical experience. Air Affairs is a registered member of the Ergonomics Society.

COMPETENCY MANAGEMENT (e.g., job analysis, competency framework development and assessment criteria specification, including specialist skills in future military force competency requirements/assessment methods and tender panel assessment criteria development and application).
TRAINING AND EDUCATION (e.g., individual, team and collective Training Needs Analysis including refresher training analysis and cost-benefit analysis; training course evaluation; and attitude development and change strategies).
HUMAN FACTORS ANALYSIS (e.g., cognitive task analysis, human error, situation awareness/shared situation awareness, workload, usability and individual and team performance assessment).
ORGANISATIONAL PERFORMANCE (e.g., organisational maturity and performance tools and factors influencing effective collaboration within and between business and military organisations).
APPLIED RESEARCH (e.g., specialist skills in bespoke methodology development and qualitative and quantitative information analysis and integration to inform design and training recommendations).
